Henry David Thoreau
Almighty God, you who sees even in darkness, I ask you to shine your light upon those who are missing. I thank you Lord for the many blessings in our lives including life and good health. I do not take for granted the fact that you have protected us since you formed us in our mothers’ wombs. Thank you so much for everything and most especially for our friends who are missing. I ask that you continue to protect and guide them as well and if at all possible bring them home.
Lord guide us in our search so that we may provide comfort and care for the victims of the missing. We feel worried but Lord let us dwell in your word in 1st Peter 5:7. Lord put our worries aside and give us faith that everything will be alright and that those who have gone missing or have been taken would come back to us safe and sound. I ask for your protection upon all those who need you most. Be with them wherever they might be. Protect them against all evil. Whatever the evil one might be plotting against us, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray no harm will befall those who are missing in the name of Jesus Christ our savior. Lord I believe that you will take charge of this situation that we are faced with.
We can’t help but think of the worst. We would like to be certain that the missing and their families are under your protection Lord. Lord cover them with your most precious blood and protect all those that are missing. Create a shield between them and the enemy so that no harm will come their way.
Be with the missing now and forever. I pray this through Christ our Lord.
"In the dark, a candle's flame is a beacon, a promise whispered on the wind. We keep it lit, not for the light it casts, but for the hope it ignites."
